About Dr.Szerlip
Dr. Szerlip has authored multiple research publications, book chapters, and given national presentations on shoulder replacement design and technique. In addition, he serves as an instructor to educate surgeons on how to perform shoulder replacement.
He received his bachelor’s at The College of Wooster and post-baccalaureate in clinical research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He received his medical degree from Ohio University and completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Dr. Szerlip completed a Shoulder and Elbow fellowship with several internationally renowned surgeons at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He worked in Austin for five years with Ortho Associates of Central TX (OACT) and the Austin Shoulder Institute.
